You’ll remember it well, if you grew up in the 90s. Any time you were able to snatch in front of the family computer usually included opening MS Paint and creating scribbles or – of course – drawing a picture of your house.
But Paint is growing up, as the Windows team rolls out a new version of Paint for a new generation. The news came as a bit of a surprise to me, because I’ve long forgotten about my forays into spray painting purple across the screen. Leaked information revealed that the new Paint will cater for touchscreen devices and 3D object support. With Microsoft revealing that they’ll be hosting a special Microsoft Surface event later in October, we can’t wait to see what else has been added to the Paint factory of tools.
