Living It up The #IntelInsideOut Way

Heading back into the routine of things after a great holiday is difficult, to say the least. But the thing I’ve realized over that gorgeous holiday season is that our life needs a little more flexibility. Being able to work from the poolside or even while I’m trying to wrangle two exuberant dogs and a kid that’s keen on setting up the Monopoly board (while dealing with an urgent email or two)…has been a lifesaver!

Heading back to school, the office and the routines of daily life has re-endorsed this and that’s why I’m really grateful for this multi-purpose machine I’m typing on.

And that machine is a Magenta Pink Acer Aspire Switch 10e. It’s little enough to pack into my handbag for the day, but big enough on power that it can be my everyday workhorse too.

Holiday Happiness
If there’s one thing I do a lot of during the holidays, it’s cooking. Usually, nowadays, I search for a recipe online, pop the tablet into a bookstand and cook using the instructions listed. With the speedy turn on and wide range of applications available on the Windows store, cooking was a breeze this holiday. I really liked the AlltheCooks app!

Power Working
But now that the daily routines are settling back into certainty, it’s time to get cracking on that to do list again. So, I’ve slipped the tablet into this nifty little keyboard and we’re ready to go all over again. With Windows 10 installed, and thanks to the Intel® Atom x5 Processor, my little pink work engine is one that definitely could, and does, even when I’m ready to give up for the day. I’ve really become used to having a touch screen attached to a keyboard now, so working with something that doesn’t have a touch screen feels very 90s. Sorry. My kid will also be using this machine for school projects soon, and the smaller size coupled with the superspeed of it will make for easy Googling!

End of Day
By the time we’re all traipsing upstairs for the pyjama merry go round, my eyes are pretty tired, but not like they used to be. Thanks to the Acer LumiFlex function, I didn’t have to squint while working outside, and the BlueLightShield has helped me during those long days of keyboard attendance. After the pyjama merry-go-round has come to a stop, it’s easy to open up the YouTube app and spin up some tunes before heading off to bed, or my kid watches another episode of Good Mythical Morning.

Last Word
I switched from using a Mac to this little powerhouse and I don’t think I’ll be going back (granted, my Mac is older than some of your children). Here’s to great work to be done, and fun to be had living an #IntelInsideOut life.
